Tuesday
• Burnsville City Council Worksession: The council will discuss amending the city's sign ordinance, which presently bans new billboards, beekeeping within city limits and the building code, which was recently the subject of controversy after one man was subject to criminal penalties because of some unfinished siding. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Wednesday
• Savage Economic Development Commission: The meeting runs from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at City Hall.
Thursday
• Cleary Lake Regional Park Public Input Workshop: Three Rivers Park District is asking the public to come up with ideas for improving the park. The meeting runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cleary Lake Regional Park Pavilion.
• A Chorus Line: Chameleon Theatre Circle presents this Tony Award winning musical that also scored a Pulitzer Prize. The show is a celebration of song and dance, performers and performance. It begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.
Friday
• Savage Bike Rodeo: Kids are invited to show off their riding skills while learning safety tips from police officers. The intended age group is from kindergarten to sixth grade. The rodeo runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Community Park ELC, 13550 Dakota Avenue.

Saturday
• International Festival: After cancelling last year's event due to inclement weather, the fest is back. Families are invited to sample East African and mediterranean food whil enjoying free entertainment from Indian Bollywood, Circus Manduhai and Alpensterne among others. The festival runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Nicollet Commons Park.
• Savage Arts Council Juried Art Competition Awards: The council is hosting an award ceremony and judge's discussion from 11:30 - 2:00 p.m. The event will takr place at the Hamilton Building, in the Community Room. The address is 4735 W. 123rd Street.
• 10th Annual Junk Market: Touch of Home Furnishings is hosting its 10th annual junk market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the event is free to the general public. It will be held rain or shine. Over 100 vendors will be on site selling their re-purposed items.
