Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Kurt Bills on Jobs, Agriculture and Being Called a 'Disciple of Ron Paul'
Republican-endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Kurt Bills sits down with Patch for a one-on-one interview.
Kurt Bills, the Republican-endorsed U.S. Senate candidate in Minnesota, hopes to have a good showing Tuesday as he faces off against David Carlson and Bob Carney Jr. in the Primary Election.
The Republican from Rosemount, who has served one year in the Minnesota House of Representatives, has already set his sights on incumbent DFL Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who is wrapping up her first term on The Hill.
Bills visited Northfield on Friday for the sixth annual Second Congressional District Reagan Dinner and took time before the dinner to chat with Patch.
In this 10-minute video interview with Patch, Bills answers questions about jobs, agriculture, why he should be elected Minnesota's next Senator and responds to Carlson calling him a "disciple of Ron Paul."

Did you all know that Kurt Bills is responsible for the lack of Big Foot sightings. It's true, Big Foot is a senior and is afraid that Bills will take away his medicare and social security. Shame on you Kurt Bills. Kurt Bills, bad for America, bad for Minnesota and bad for Big Foot.

Dennis,
As much as you would like to joke about medicare and social security. They are unsustainable, we can choose to cut those programs and deal with our debt or they will bankrupt the county. Either way the social programs will end.

Dennis -- I have one question for you. Which is more important -- finding solutions to the $16Trillion debt and much larger entitlement problem we have and providing future generations with hope that they have at least a shred of a chance? Or keep doing the same things -- stick your head in the sand and pretend that these problems don't exist? That after all, is the Amy Klobuchar way of doing things. Oh, let's go make another hotdish! Pathetic.
We need true leaders (not empty suits) in Congress. Kurt Bills is the real deal

Aramis and Al,
I am a huge Kurt Bills fan and will help in any way, if will get Kurt into office. I guess I missed the sarcastic mark with my first post here, I was making a point that the claims out of the left are so ridiculous. I hear that even the liberal media is pushing back against the left - amazing. I agree 100 percent that entitlements need to be dealt with, and dealt with now, or yes, they will bankrupt our country. We need to deal with federal govt entitlements, public employee benefits, pensions, subsidies, food stamps, welfare and more. So guys, yes, I am a supporter of Kurt Bills and want solutions and the truth. This pick of Paul Ryan has energized me, and the country - let's get it done.

Thanks for the clarification and I'm glad to see you have views that are meant to help push back on big government. People who care about the future of this country need to get behind Kurt Bills in particular. The social contract of leaving this place in better hands for younger generations has been shredded by leftists and big government republicans. Its time to remove as many of those as possible and unshackle the potential that Americans have. Dont vote for local, state or federal candidates who make promises to give more to people...vote for people who promise to enact fiscal and personal repsonsibility measures.
As far as helping the Bills campaign---I suggest going to KurtBills.com. You'll be able to sign up there
