Talk about leaving a legacy. Carol and Dick Frick founded Kids 'n Kinship in 1972. The non-profit started small and informal, with just a handful of kids and volunteers. Now, the organization is part of the Kinship Affiliate Network, which includes 36 member groups in the Upper Midwest. At present, the network has 1,800 children paired with mentors, according to an article in the Pioneer Press.
