Seniors Maddie Harpell and Luke Kegley will preside over Burnsville High's homecoming dance this weekend. The two were chosen from 20 candidates—10 girls and 10 boys—to be the school's homecoming king and queen for this year. In true 21st century fashion, after the coronation ceremony the new queen took to Twitter to express her gratitude.

"SO BLESSED. Oh my gosh. Thank you all so much, I can't even believe it! #IsThisRealLife? #ILoveYou!! :)" Harpell tweeted on Thursday.
