A story of love, trickery and greed is coming to the Caponi Art Park next week.

As part of the park's Summer Performance Series, the Cromulent Shakespeare Company will present "The Merry Wives of Windsor" at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 24 at the Theater in the Woods on park grounds. Attendance is free, with a $5 suggested donation to support the program.

Falstaff, a poor knight and a character in the play, looks to seduce two wives of wealthy men in England. Unfortunately for Falstaff, the two wives discover his plan and with their adoring husbands devise a plan to embarrass Falstaff. As this is going on, one of the mistresses daughters, Anne, is courted by three suitors, only one of which she actually cares for, who all plan to elope with her on the same night as Falstaff’s downfall.
