Donald A. Macklin, of Burnsville, died on Jan. 29, 2013 at age 84.

Macklin was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Barth-Macklin.

Macklin is survived by children, Michael (Gayle), Richard and Jean Macklin, Margaret (Greg) Lande, Dale (Bambi) Barth, Jackie (Kurt) Gilispie, Doit (Beth) Barth, and Carolyn (John) Eischens; 12 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 at the Ebenezer Ridges Chapel, 13820 Community Drive in Burnsville, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service.
