This weekend Stop, Swap & Shop (The Marketplace) makes it debut at Buck Hill Ski Area.

The swap meet, which bills itself as the "newest shopping venue in the Twin Cities" will boast more than 70 Minnesota-based crafters, hobbyists, collectors, and sellers of all stripes. There will be goods of all kinds including nurseries, jewelry, ironwork, pottery, clothing, paintings and drawings, sculptures and more.

The event will also have plenty of food and live music.

The swap is open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will run from opening day on July 7 through Sept. 3. Admission is free and parking costs $1.
