A handful of local political candidates will be present at a political forum at Rasmussen College on Wednesday evening.

A handful of local political candidates are expected to make an appearance at a Wednesday evening candidate forum hosted by the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Rasmussen College in Eagan.

The forum, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, will be held at Rasmussen College in Eagan. The forum is open to the public.

Candidates invited to attend include Jim Carlson (DFL), Sen. Ted Daley (R), Rep. Diane Anderson (R), Sandra Masin (DFL), Laurie Halverson (DFL) and Rep. Doug Wardlow (R).

As part of the forum, the attending candidates will have two minutes to make opening comments, and then one minute to answer each of a series of questions posed by the moderator. To wrap up, candidates will have one minute to give closing comments.

It is time to return honesty and integrity to MN politics. Vote Carlson, Halverson, Masin, and Obermueller.

I must cast my vote for Carlson, Masin, Obermuller and Halverson. Their commonsense approach and consideration for ALL constituents is what works for Minnesota.

I am so tired of the Republican "borrow and spend" mentality. Time to restore our state and its budget so lets all vote the Democrat ticket in November.
