Burnsville High Parties Like It's 1989

Neon colors and retro fashions were aplenty at Burnsville's winter dance

Two Burnsville students dance to a hip hop song in the middle of the crowd at the winter dance.

Before entering Burnsville High School's winter dance, students splattered neon paint on their friends and on themselves.

A makeshift booth was set up for students to add glow in the dark paint onto their white and spandex outfits. The yellows, greens, purples and pinks got brighter in the blacklight lit gymnasium. The booth also made cleanup a lot easier for those working at the dance.

Adam Zalusky, also known as Crisco on KDWB's Dave Ryan Morning Show, was on hand to help bring the music to the students attending the dance.

The dance opened at 8 with students steadily trickling in. But at about 9 p.m., a flood of students rushed through the painting area and invaded the dancefloor with 80's fashion and neon colors. The dance ran from 8 p.m. to midnight this year.
