Burnsville will be going to state -- that much is settled.
What remains to be settled is how the top-ranked Cobras will enter.
Burnsville put on a dominant display of pitching and defense to down Lakeville North 6-1 at Alimagnet Park in Friday's Third District American Legion baseball semifinals.
The Cobras will play No. 3 Eastview for the District 3 championship Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alimagnet Park. Eastview defeated Stillwater 9-2 in Friday's other semifinal.
Bunrsville broke open a pitcher's duel with three runs in the top of the sixth inning.
The Cobras earlier defeated East Ridge 10-2 and St. Paul Park 5-3 to gain the tournament semifinals.
The top three teams from District 3 advance to the 2011 85th Annual Minnesota Division I State Tournament, which will be hosted by Eden Prairie July 29 through Aug. 1.
