BES School Board Candidates Face Off Tonight at Forum

Watch live online, television, or in person. Either way—get ready for fireworks.

Four school board seats, 10 total candidates. And all of them want your vote.

That's the story of tonight's Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District School Board Forum. It's also plenty important. All four incumbents are vying to retain their seats on a school board that faces unprecedented scrutiny amid recent leadership shakeups, financial hardships and a bit of controversy.

The forum, which starts at 7 p.m. at the Senior Campus of the Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway, is sponsored by Shippers Resource Center. Tom Taylor, president of SRC, will be the moderator.

Residents are encouraged to attend the forum, but the district will also be airing the debate live on local Channel 18, as well as the district's website.
